What is the Mainframe design process?
The Mainframe Interactive web design process is a tried and tested procedure for documenting and engineering a sophisticated web site.
It involves engaging us not only to construct your website, but also as consultants who design and document the site from the ground up, based around your business goals, requirement and objectives.
Step 1
Design brief, site map, architecture & layout
Mainframe will author a comprehensive design brief resulting in a Site Map and a website functionality draft finalising the proposed site structure and features. This document will be used as a blueprint for the design of your site. This will not just outline the concept, layout and sitemap but will also detail menu functionality and other specific functional requirements.
Deliverable: Design brief, Detailed Site Map & web functionality requirements passed on to Design team
Step 2
Visual Design – Mainframe will design your site so it reflects your concept requirements and brand architecture (if applicable). We pride ourselves on producing clean contemporary designs.
Deliverable: Visual Design, ‘Look and Feel’ of the Home Page.
Client Sign Off: There will be a meeting to deliver and review this with you (your input is valued and welcomed; we include scope for two iterations based on your feedback)
Step 3
Production and Final Delivery – Mainframe will build the site using best HTML practices and populate your site with the content supplied by the client.
Deliverable: A fully functional site on our Staging Server for your approval
Client Sign Off – You will have a 7 day period (depending on the time constraints) in which to evaluate the site in the staging environment before sign-off. When you sign-off on the final site, we will publish it so that it is ‘live’ at your chosen domain address.
Do I have to pay in advance?
We have a easy 2 step payment plan:
- 25% deposit to commence your project
- Balance on go live date
We also have a direct debit solution, in which we can stagger payments over a 4 month period.*
